New Orleans is a place I had been wanting to visit for years. Purely because in every picture and movie I had seen it in, it was depicted to look so much different than where I am from with it’s culture, food, and Southern charm. It surely did not disappoint and I was able to enjoy a gorgeous weekend with some wonderful ladies but first, I was so thankful to have met up with Candice and Jack during my visit for an absolutely stunning photo session. It may have been 100% humidity but not only were they patient and fun, they were so so kind and welcoming.
It wasn’t until I was in NOLA that I realized how big of a name Jack was…”Slap Ya Mamma”… the name of his family’s company that offers the most killer cajun spices and hot sauce that I have probably ever tasted. Frank’s Red Hot has nothing on these guys. Every store I stepped foot in was fully stocked with cans and jars of this stuff and now I know why. Candice was an absolute sweetheart even from when we started emailing back and forth prior to our shoot. She represented Louisiana in Miss USA (placing top 10) and I have absolutely zero questions as to why she was chosen. The absolute sweetest girl in Louisiana no doubt, and as you can see, her looks are equally as stunning.
I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my trip or a more wonderful couple to photograph. Thank you both so much for your kindness, pointers for my visit, and for the gorgeous photographs I was able to take home with me! I hope we can work together again 😉
