When Allie and John first started planning their wedding, they were not envisioning celebrating becoming Mr. and Mrs. in Paris – a city neither had ever visited before. And, yet, when they realized they had plane tickets booked and a desire to create an experience for their guests they weren’t quite expecting, an intimate soiree in Paris felt like the exact celebration they had been envisioning all along!

Once they were set on their destination, Allie and John began researching their wedding vendors. They found their wedding planners, Vanessa and Caroline Creatrices de Mariages, who they would later describe as “invaluable” online, and Vanessa and Caroline quickly guided them to a host of other incredible professionals from Paris and abroad!

A+J’s Parisian must-haves were few, but they were important details that set the scene for their wedding day: romantic, soft hues that would mimic the feeling Allie and John had long imagined they and their guests would feel upon seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time; an ornate venue that felt indescribably Parisian; and views of the Eiffel Tower. Together with their team of professionals, every one of their wishes and more came true!

Allie and John were married at the Hotel Marignan Champs- Elysées. Their ceremony, which was officiated by their Best Man and Maid of Honor, included an Eiffel Tower backdrop. Post vows, the couple and their guests joined together for dinner and dancing at Maison des Centraliens. Allie notes one of the highlights was when all 28 of the couple’s wedding guests jumped onto the dance floor, thanks to their reception musician Floo’s up-tempo and crowd-pleasing repertoire.

Though they had never met their planners, tasted their food, or seen their ceremony or reception venues in person prior to their wedding day, Allie and John describe their celebration as “extraordinary”. As their photographer, I completely agree.
