Wintertime on the East Coast can be tough. The weather is dreary and gray, cabin fever begins to set in, but sometimes you find a few beautiful days! Although we weren’t graced with glorious sunshine during Midori and Will’s New York City engagement, we certainly had a beautifully lit day to capture them in the midst of the hub. We met in Central Park, a classic as old as time. From there we made our way to one of the most picturesque locations with a million-dollar view just a taxi ride away… Top of the Rock.
It’s been a few years since I was able to photograph in this incredible spot. It is equally as beautiful on a winter day as it was in the hot days of August. Having lived in New York City before a move to Boston, this couple brought a certain sense of personal experience to our session. When possible, this is something I strive for in all of my sessions. Their chic and classic look could not have been a better fit for this day. Now that we are officially back in the roaring 20’s, I can say that we are less than a year away from their winter nuptials at the Four Seasons Boston. I can hardly wait to team up with my dear friend Renee of Urban Soiree to make their day an event to remember!
