There are few things more beautiful than a mother awaiting the arrival of her baby. When Kerianne Nelson Flora reached out last minute with an idea she has been dreaming of, I couldn’t have been more excited to collaborate with her. Within 24hrs we were able to team up and create a stunning motherhood session that will be hard to forget.

As a photographer, my business is part of my heart and soul and Stephanie Vegliante Photography has become part of who I am. During such a difficult time for creatives it has been hard to come to terms with the loss of photography while heading into, what would have been, a full season of artistry. In the midst of government restrictions and mandates, creativity is hard to find these days and despite having to follow increased safety measures with our small vendor team socially distancing and wearing masks, we were able to accomplish exactly what we had hoped. As an expecting mamma myself, this was such a wonderful way to express some creativity and to capture another beautiful mother-to-be who happens to be a fellow wedding photographer herself, Catherine Threlkeld.

Kerianne’s creation was a magical, floral wonderland. Perfectly set in an open field with spring sunshine beaming down. The florals she chose projected such a feminine ambiance and worked perfectly with the velvet lounge provided by Kadeems Rentals. Simplicity meets feminine romance truly was accomplished with her vision.

We hope this gives a wonderful round of applause to all the mother’s out there as we approach another Mother’s Day. Thought this year may be celebrated differently than in the past, there are still so many ways to honor our mothers and show our love, if even from afar.
