WHAT IF OUR WEDDING TIMELINE CHANGES AND WE NEED MORE/LESS TIME?
Time can be adjusted in wedding packages at any time. It is not uncommon for things to run a bit over on a wedding day and an extra hour is added last minute. Pricing to add additional time is $400 per hour.
DO YOU TRAVEL AND WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?
As a Boston Wedding Photographer I am based in the Boston area however, I am a seasoned world traveler ranging from trips to Hawaii and Hong Kong, I will travel anywhere! I have photographed weddings in Paris, elopements in Ireland, destination weddings in Napa Valley and I even lived in Greece. I've traveled to at least one country every year for the past 10yrs. Destination weddings and weddings outside of New England are something I strive to incorporate into every wedding season. We can work together on travel and accommodation details and I am amazing at planning budgeted trips which is incredibly helpful when working with a strict budget.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH EVERY WEDDING YOU BOOK OR DO YOU HAVE ASSOCIATES THAT WORK FOR YOU?
I pride myself in photographing every single booking that comes through SVP. I take my profession and responsibility very seriously and want to be hands on with my clients at all times. In the event that an emergency were to occur, I have a large network of trusted professional photographers that I can reach out to for coverage. This is a large reason why having two photographers in your wedding package is also a great way to ensure you are taken care of in case of an emergency. In 13yrs of business and over 150 weddings, I have never missed a wedding day despite any obstacles!
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE? WHAT IF YOUR EQUIPMENT BREAKS?
SVP is fully insured and I have backups for all of my equipment.
ARE THE PHOTOGRAPHERS WHO WORK WITH YOU SEASONED? DO YOU KNOW THEM?
I have a well-seasoned group of go-to photographers that I work with. Each of them have worked with me in the past, are extremely talented, and technically savvy in the photography field. All of our work embodies a similar feel and ours styles are very similar to provide you with a well rounded and cohesive final image gallery.
WHAT IF YOU HAVE NEVER WORKED AT MY VENUE?
It is actually my preference to work at venues I have not been to in the past. I limit myself to three wedding per year at each venue to keep a fresh eye. When working in a new space for the first time my creativity is at it's peak and I do my best work!
HOW LONG CAN I EXPECT MY IMAGES AFTER MY WEDDING OR PORTRAIT SESSION?
My turn around time for weddings is 4-6 weeks but more often than not, my delivery dates are much sooner. For portrait sessions my turn around time is 1-2 weeks.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
Every event is different and I am a firm believer in quality over quantity. This is fully dependent on how many details I have to photograph, how much time is allotted for photography, and how much is going on throughout a wedding day. The average number of images is 70-100 images per hour I am photographing and for portrait sessions 50-100 images.
WE AREN'T GOOD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. WHAT SHOULD WE DO?
It's my job to make sure you look your best! An engagement session is a really fun way to break the ice before your wedding day. While we are shooting I will make goofy jokes, work with the two of you so you are interacting together, and do everything I can to bring out your true personalities. I am determined to capture the most authentic and realistic images of you and your loved ones and the only way to do so is to provide the most comfortable and fun atmosphere possible.
DO YOU SHOOT FILM OR DIGITAL?
I shoot both! Depending on the weather, location, allotted time, and lighting, I choose what will serve my clients best. If I feel that film is the best fit for the day, I will pair it with my digital images. Regardless of what medium I choose to use, all of my work represents a timeless and classic style and has a cohesive flow.
